Return and Exchange Policy

At Threads of Knowledge, LLC ("TOK"), we strive to provide our customers with high-.quality products and excellent customer service. We understand that occasionally, you may need to return or exchange an item, and we want to make this process as easy and fair as possible.

Returning or exchanging purchased items

Your refund will be issued to your original payment method. You may also choose to receive the credit of your return as an e-gift card. You have 45 days to return your items from the date we send your shipment confirmation email. If you have multiple shipments in your order, then you have 45 days from the date of the last shipment confirmation email

Online Returns and Exchanges

• By using our RMA return system we can track your return. Simply select our carrier and use the return label emailed to you, to mail your package back to us.
• Please be advised, a fee of $7 for shipping will be deducted from your refund depending on your region. By using our return system, it will help confirm the status of your return and track its delivery progress for security and convenience.

You will not be charged a return shipping fee for any products received with defects. Please go through the defect reporting process so that a shipping label can be issued to you and sent to your email.

Return policy for online orders

• Items must be mailed back to us no more than 45 days after your shipment confirmation email. If there are multiple shipments in your order, then you have 45 days from the date of the last shipment confirmation email.
• Items must be in their original condition to be eligible for a return. The item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it.

We do not accept returns without your receipt, invoice, or order confirmation. Please be sure to provide some form of proof of purchase.

Exchange policy for online orders

• Similar to the return policy, the items must be mailed back to us in 45 days of your shipment confirmation email.
• Items must be in their original condition. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it.
• Once we receive your returned item and verify that it meets our exchange criteria, we will process your exchange. If there is a price difference between the exchanged item and the new item, we will either refund the difference or require additional payment.
• Customers are responsible for shipping costs associated with returning the item to TOK. We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure the item is safely returned to us.

TOK will cover the shipping costs for the replacement item being sent to the customer.

Threads of Knowledge will not receive returns after 45 days of the initial purchase date.

Sizing Returns & Exchanges

Please note that our sizing runs slightly small. To ensure a more comfortable fit, we recommend checking the sizing chart(Link) provided on our website and ordering one size larger than your usual size. If you prefer something more form fitting, please order your normal size.

We understand that ordering the correct size online can be challenging. Therefore, we offer one return per year for sizing issues. If you receive an item and find that it does not fit properly, you may return it for an exchange or refund. If you have multiple size returns per year, you may exchange them for store credit. Excessive returns will be denied.

You may find some items in our store that say ‘final sale product’, this means that there are no returns for that specific item. This is due to our vendor discontinuing a clothing line, a seasonal fashion shift or other extemporaneous reasons.

Logistics

Time frame of refund

Please allow up to three weeks for your return to be delivered and received by Threads of Knowledge. Once the refund process begins, it may take 3-5 business days to appear in your account, in rare cases, certain payment methods can cause a longer wait time.

Return Shipping

Your return package will reach a carrier’s reception center; it may be shown as ‘Delivered’ before arriving at the Threads of Knowledge reception center. We will need time to acquire the package from the shipping carrier before we can process the return.

Returns must be made within 45 days of receipt of your order. If your return is received and processed at our address within 45 days, we will refund the original payment method. However, if you are making a return after 45 days, your refund will be processed as merchandise credit.

Products listed as final sale, custom creations, or personalized products are considered final sales and are not eligible for returns, exchanges or cancellations. However, this policy does not apply to merchandise that is defective, damaged, or does not match its description. We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our products, and if you encounter any issues with your purchase, please contact our customer service team for assistance.

Items must be in their original condition, to be eligible for a return. The item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it. In other words the item must be in new condition and resellable to the public.

Our sizing runs smaller than our demographic in the western world is used to. For a comfortable fit, it is wise to purchase one size larger for a comfortable fit. For a product more form fitting, feel free to order your normal size. Returns for sizing issues may be done only once per year. Excessive returns will be denied.

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs for any reason unless the item itself is defective. If an item is not as described on the website, Threads of Knowledge will take care of any additional costs to resolve the issue and ensure the customer receives what was ordered.

We currently ship to addresses within the United States and select international destinations. 

Shipping costs are calculated based on the total weight of your order and the selected shipping method. We offer free standard shipping on orders over $50 within the United States. The following rates are based on shipments under one pound. Shipping costs are subject to change based on location and weight.

Processing Time  

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. During peak seasons, processing times may be delayed by a few days.
